Pyrford now has an official voice –
In February 2014, the Pyrford Neighbourhood Forum (PNF) was officially approved. This means the PNF is the designated body to develop a future Development Neighbourhood Plan for Pyrford. When completed and ratified, all planning applications within Pyrford will need to be judged against this Plan. Full details are available on the forum website www.pyrfordforum.org.

Now is the time to tell us your priorities and views on the future of Pyrford.
This is your opportunity to tell us what you believe is important enough to include in Pyrford’s Neighbourhood Plan
For example the Forum could develop policies to:
• Retain and promote the Green Belt, preserving the countryside in our local area.
• Encourage the development of footpaths and cycle paths.
• Encourage the provision of recreational facilities.
• Insist on adequate off-

With this news letter is a very simple questionnaire.
It would be very helpful if you would kindly complete this section (see overleaf).
Look out for us at Pyrford and Wisley Flower Show where we shall have a display stand. A Photographic competition is planned for this year’s Flower Show. The theme being Views of Pyrford, so get out there and start snapping in readiness for the July event!
Information will also be available to keep you up to date, at: coffee mornings at the Church of the Good Shepherd; and displays outside local shops!

Public Meeting
Please come to see and hear about the Plan so far, and give us your comments, at the next Pyrford Neighbourhood Forum meeting onThursday 3rd April, 2014 at 8pm in the Annexe of The Church of the Good Shepherd, Coldharbour Road, Pyrford. You can also hear about what we have been doing in response to Woking Borough Council’s illogical new Ward boundary proposals. Hundreds of Pyrford residents have written in to protest at Pyrford being split across two Wards.
