Pyrford Forum is delighted to have been selected as one of the local groups being supported by the COOP Local Community Fund. The Forum is most grateful to Cllr Peter Graves who suggested applying and made the application on behalf of the Forum.
The Forum would like to convert the piece of community land between Coldharbour and Hacketts Lanes into a small park with fruit trees, bulbs, and shrubs, and maybe a fence or a hedge, seating and a plaque.
Woking Borough Council has already kindly agreed to plant a few trees during the coming planting season.
The original thought was to name it the Platinum Jubilee Garden, but since the Queens death the suggestion now is the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Memorial Garden.

Are residents close to the proximity of this allowed an opinion or has this already been given the go ahead from SCC?
