The community will decide what is included in the new Plan. The Forum committee will hold a series of consultation events which will identify topics of importance to residents. With the help of our planning consultants, Bluestone Planning, these will be developed into policies for inclusion in the Plan. Residents will be consulted on the final plan, before it is submitted to a planning inspector for approval. Finally, residents will vote on whether to accept the plan at a referendum. A majority vote in favour is required before it is “made”.
How Can You Get Involved?
We want to engage with as many residents and local businesses as possible, so please look out for information about our consultation events and online surveys. We will be publicising them through our email mailing list (this goes to all PNF members, see Join Us link on the website if you are not a member), on our Facebook page (Pyrford Neighbourhood Forum) and on our website.
If you have a particular area of interest, please join one of the Focus Groups which will be set up to look at specific aspects of the Plan.
