TWISTED STONE LAND SALE
100 acres south of the footpath from Twisted Stone clubhouse to Dodds Lane has been purchased by The Old House on Pyrford Road opposite the junction with Boltons Lane. Joy and Akeel Sachak report that it’s their intention to re-wild the area including the area of ancient woodland known as Peatmore Wood. This is good news for the village as it will protect the area from development whilst maintaining the semi-rural ecology of a very important area of water meadow and floodplain.
