Members of the Forum regularly carry out Nature Surveys to help the Forum understand the flora and fauna in and around the Pyrford area. This will enable us to help put in place any particular measures that might be needed to protect our local wildlife.
If you see any unusual wildlife in/round Pyrford, including in your garden, please get in touch.
We are particularly interested in sightings of unusual or endangered species such as hedgehogs, reptiles (frogs/newts/snakes), bats, badgers, unusual roosting or nesting birds e.g. owls and birds of prey.
If you see animals that have been killed on our roads please report them so that we can look at protective measures in conjunction with the Highway Authorities and landowners.
