LITTER PICKING PYRFORD COMMON
A number of the Committee Members and friends joined a litter pick organised by Pyrford Forum on Pyrford Common.
Thank you to those members of the public who, when they came across us, thanked us for our efforts which generated much more rubbish than we expected.
One person did ask if there was anything we could do to prevent others leaving hedge cuttings on the Common. The simple answer I gave was no, but, on reflection, I thought I would mention their concern in this newsletter.
I appreciate that WBC has unfortunately suspended Garden Waste removal, but there are better ways to handle your garden waste than leaving it on Pyrford Common.
