This year has been pretty busy chasing down the brief you gave us the last AGM.  For a reminder of what was agreed last year click on PNF AGM Minutes 16th October 2016 draft .

Firstly the year started with the Martyrs Lane consultation and we’ll have a full update the current situation as we see it.  Certainly we owe you all a great deal of thanks for supporting our various fund raising initiatives, to pay for the professional assistance we had, and without which we would have been struggling.

Once the bulk of that campaign was over our attention turned to designing a new constitution to cover the activities you confirmed we should get involved in at the AGM last year.  This involved working closely with and clarifying the relationship needed between Byfleet, West Byfleet and Pyrford Residents Association (BWBPRA) and ourselves.  This has turned out very well and BWBPRA are funding basic operations of the Forum from the increased subscriptions introduced 12 months ago.  It is now in all our interests to subscribe to BWBPRA so that we can pursue the issues that concern you – more details on the night.

So a very important piece of business will be to discuss and approve the new constitution that reflects what we want to do and and the relationship with BWBPRA moving forward.  For full details of the constitution to be put forward please click on PNF Constitution 2017-18

The AGM will also incorporate a talk by Steve Conisbee the new tenant of Ladyplace Farm  which includes the two fields either side of Upshot Lane where he has already made an impressive start to improving the land.  Steve has a very interesting business plan that we think you will enjoy listening to.

SO COME ALONG AND BRING YOUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBOURS

CATCH UP ON LOCAL ISSUES AND SUPPORT THE FORUM

See you all in the Village Hall on the 27 Nov.  Click on AGM Agenda 2017 for the latest draft agenda.
