What Residents Love about Pyrford
• Strong sense of community
• Green spaces – woods, common, fields, trees, countryside, canal
• Network of footpaths
• Abundant nature and wildlife
• Peace and quiet
• Safe, family-friendly atmosphere
• Village feel with amenities in walking or cycling distance
• Popular features – church, butchers, RA
Community Priorities for Pyrford’s Future
• Protect green spaces, hedgerows and trees
• Preserve the village feel and family-orientated lifestyle
• Protect existing Conservation Areas 
• Protect the important views
• Protect the character of Pyrford / street scene
• Avoid development on the flower meadows
• Create an identifiable village centre
• Improved public transport (more buses, new routes, electric buses)
• Improved local healthcare facilities (especially a doctors’ surgery)
• Support sustainable growth
• Local radio station

• Parking in residential roads
