23rd June 2023 by Geoff Geaves Leave a Comment

COMMENTS MADE BY FORUM

Since the last newsletter Pyrford Forum objected to:-

Lee Place, Hazel Road – Erection of detached dwelling on land west of Lee Place – Concern expressed at the proposed building not being sympathetic with Lee Place, a locally listed building.

Cherrywood, Blackdown Avenue – Erection of part two storey and part single storey side extension to existing dwelling (planning permission PLAN/2020/0863 granted 25/02/2021) and creation of new dwelling with associated parking and amenity space.  (NB conversion of an approved extension into a sperate dwelling house)

Beech Rise, Lock Lane – Formation of vehicular access onto Lock Lane  (N.B.  This is the second application solely for Vehicular Access)

Little Copse, Pyrford Road – Erection of a detached dwelling on land to the west of Little Copse, Pyrford Road, new vehicular access off Hare Hill Close and associated subdivision of the plot, parking and landscaping.  (N.B. This is second application but is for a bungalow rather than a house)

 APPLICATIONS DECISIONS OF NOTE

1 Lovelace Drive Pyrford – Withdrawn – Erection of two storey front, rear and side extensions – Concerns about impact & over development of the site as it was too close to neighbouring boundary.

8 Townsend Cottage Coldharbour Road – Refused – Erection of a front Porch

Beech Rise Lock Lane Pyrford – Refused – Formation of vehicular access onto Lock Lane – As it was in the Green Belt, Pyrford Forum objected.  The application was refused due to lack of traffic splays being presented. As there was no existing planning permission for the constructed pillars and gate, these structures have been referred to the Woking Borough Council Enforcement Team for consideration.

Beech Rise Lock Lane Pyrford – Appeal Refused by Planning Inspector – Erection of a single storey dwelling and formation of a vehicular access onto Lock Lane following demolition of existing stables and field shelter

Qaro Pyrford Heath Pyrford – Permitted – Erection of detached garage and hardstanding, following demolition of existing detached garage.  The Forum has objected to previous applications on this site but made no comment on this.

21 Pine Tree Hill – Refused – Double storey rear extension, garage conversion, single storey side extensions and double storey front extension/dormer extension. Replacement decking at rear and alterations to fenestration.

Chestnut Lodge Forest Road – Permitted – Subdivision of existing dwelling into two detached dwellings following demolition of parts of existing dwelling and external alterations.

and those close to the Pyrford Forum Boundary:

Nutfield Hollybank Road West Byfleet  – Refused – Sub-division of existing rear garden and the erection of a new dwelling, associated landscaping and formation of new access.

Fairfield Woodlands Road West Byfleet – Permitted – Demolition of existing dwelling and erection of four detached dwellings and associated access and landscaping.

 NEW APPLICATIONS OF NOTE

Brown House, Aviary Road (Conservation area) – Erection of single storey front extension and side porch extension

Little Copse, Pyrford Road – Erection of a detached dwelling on land to the west of Little Copse, Pyrford Road, new vehicular access off Hare Hill Close and associated subdivision of the plot, parking and landscaping (New application for a bungalow rather than the previous refused application for a 2-storey house).

Cherrywood, Blackdown Avenue – Erection of part two storey and part single storey side extension to existing dwelling (planning permission PLAN/2020/0863 granted 25/02/2021) and creation of new dwelling with associated parking and amenity space.  (NB conversation of an approved extension into a sperate dwelling house)

Pyrford Place Pyrford Road – Erection of a replacement boathouse following demolition of existing structure.  (Single storey building rather than the previous two storey building which was refused)
