The Draft Pyrford Neighbourhood Plan was submitted to the Council to assess whether the plan needed a full Environmental Impact Assessment. Having reviewed the criteria, the Council has concluded that the preliminary draft PNP (December 2015) is not likely to have a significant environmental effect and accordingly will not require a Strategic Environmental Assessment.

The findings of this screening report is in my personal opinion .. a whitewash.
I note the underlying phrase “This policy itself will not lead to development” .. so why even have a strategic plan if it is not to be implemented ?
They said the same about Westfield .. it may have taken 15 years instead of the 10 year plan, but sooner or later it was implemented and I have no doubt that Woking Borough Council IS intending to build on the proposed sites whether they have told the Screening Report or not. I feel that WBC has not been translucent in their approach to the necessary bodies.
